SQLWorks Hardware Requirements

Hardware requirements are not taxing - any hardware purchased in the last 2-3 years will be adequate for operation. SQLWorks operates fully cross platform and performs well on a range of Apple and Windows hardware. We recommend the addition of a dedicated SQLWorks Server, though this is by no means essential, particularly for smaller clients, as the database can run on existing hardware.

Minimum Requirements - Apple Macintosh or PC with:

  • Windows XP or above / Mac OSX 10.4 or above
  • Intel Core 2 processor 2Ghz or faster
  • Monitor with 1400x900 resolution
  • Internet/network connection required
  • Workstation needs 1GB RAM with and 2GB HDD free space
  • Server as above but with 4GB RAM and 100GB HDD free space
  • A suitable set of backup systems, this can be provided by Lineal
