SQLWorks now allows you to record information relevant to customs and international shipping, trace individual items and directly invoice a delivery once it is received. Deliveries in SQLWorks do not have to exist per order, they can be made from a part of an individual order, or a combination of multiple orders for the same company.  Each can be invoiced in one action, automatically preparing consolidated invoices if necessary.

You can even allocate your deliveries to any shipping containers you may have.  This provides you with the means to track the entire container on ship, recall a detailed container inventory and even proportion delivery costs across all companies whose orders are inside the container.  The ability to manage your international orders at the highest level of detail is provided as standard for all SQLWorks users…

Version 5 of Lineal’s SQLWorks, the cost effective alternative to the combination of Sage 200 and ACT! has been launched today and is going live this week.  Customers tell us that SQLWorks processes are faster than using Sage 200 and ACT!  CRM and business accounting can be carried out more efficiently and customers have increased control over their stock and warehousing.

We allow you to choose which items will be serial number ‘enabled’ and each can be setup independently of each other.

You can force your users to either choose or enter serial numbers whenever stock is issued or received.  Alternatively we allow loose-coupling, where a user will be prompted for the serial number information but will be allowed to proceed without if the data is not to hand.

If you use the works order system, serial numbers can be auto-generated with a pre-set prefix.

Alongside our built in batch-costing method, SQLWorks provides true historical data by recording answers to:

• how much did it cost?
• where did it come from?
• what else was it with?
• where did it go?

Serial Number Tracking on the SQLWorks stock system allows you to fully track all products handled by your business, keeping you in complete control.

Using this feature you can entrust the accuracy of the stock take to the store men, allowing orders to continue to be picked and later writing a plus or minus amount back to the stores. If you want tighter controls the ‘quantity save’ will set the figures to the recorded quantity and this will ensure that the quantity there is exactly as recorded.

As before the stock check includes on-the-fly variance reporting, re-printable check and recheck sheets, historical counted, entered and checked by user names, the ability to quickly compare counted figures with theoretical and current free stock and many more advanced features.
